A message from Senior Minister, John Samuel.
God’s great building project on earth is to build his people into a dwelling place for himself to live in. Each local church is part of that grand project. What a magnificent commission and privilege!
But every local church needs somewhere to meet. A place which fits our mission to glorify God by making disciples from all nations. A place where, gathered together, God’s word is proclaimed, God’s praises are sung, God is approached in prayer and God’s people are able to encourage one another to persevere in the faith.
Our existing place of worship, the auditorium, is now in dire need of renovation, which includes essential maintenance, to remain the safe and welcoming place it needs to be for our community of believers.
In 2020, we look back on 150 years since we were founded through the vision and generosity of our forebears. Now it is our turn to create the next legacy.
We need God to stir us up to give generously and sacrificially if we are to achieve what needs to be done – not just for today, but as an investment and gift for future generations in Duke Street so that the gospel may continue to be proclaimed in south-west London and beyond.
If you would like to make a donation to the project, either as a lump sum or through regular giving, you send it via this LINK or contact Ronelle Botha in the church office.
Every little helps, so we are extremely grateful for all donations whatever their size.
